Software Engineer New Grad

As a software engineer, you will work with the engineering team to build infrastructure and products for the Databricks platform. Hiring spans all teams, including backend, full stack, infrastructure, databases, systems, tools, cloud, and customer-facing products. You will join a cohort of engineers who build their careers through collaborative projects and learning opportunities. With a dedicated mentor and a supportive team, you will onboard quickly and start contributing to impactful projects soon after joining.

The impact you will have

• Work with a team to build features and improve architecture for the Databricks platform
• Develop and extend the Databricks product
• Own the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, and operating in production
• Build solutions with a high level of reliability, scalability, and security

What we look for

• Graduating in fall 2026 or spring 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Implementation skills with a general purpose programming language, such as Python, Java, or C++
• Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and OOP principles
• Experience managing end-to-end projects

Pay ranges vary by location: Zone 1 is $145,000 to $155,000 USD, Zone 2 is $137,750 to $147,450 USD, and Canada is $125,000 to $130,000 USD. Actual compensation depends on factors such as job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, training, and work location. The total package may also include an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
