Software Engineering Intern

At Databricks, we help data teams solve some of the world's toughest problems, from building the next mode of transportation to speeding up medical breakthroughs. We do this by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform so customers can use deep data insights to improve their business.

As a Software Engineering Intern, you will join a team of engineers and build features that contribute directly to the Databricks platform. We are hiring across all of our teams, including full stack, backend, infrastructure, systems, tools, cloud, databases, and customer-facing products. You will have a dedicated mentor and will join our summer 2027 intern cohort, where you can connect with engineers, other interns, and leaders from across the company.

The impact you will have:

• Work with a team to build features for the Databricks platform
• Manage your project end-to-end, including design, code, and feedback
• Learn how to build a platform that scales quickly while maintaining quality and security

You can select one of the following programs through this application: a Summer 16-week co-op or a Summer 12-week internship. Co-ops are only available to students enrolled in a co-op program.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Pay ranges are based on the expected range for non-commissionable roles. Actual compensation depends on factors such as job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package may also include eligibility for an annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
