About the Role

Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Technical Operations Co-Op to join our MedTech Orthopaedics Supply Chain team in West Chester, PA.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate its Orthopaedics business to form a standalone orthopaedics company operating as DePuy Synthes. The separation is expected to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, consultations with works councils and other employee representative bodies, regulatory approvals, and other customary conditions. If you accept this position, you would likely become an employee of DePuy Synthes after the transaction closes, and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes policies, programs, and benefit plans. Any planned changes would be communicated to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time.

The Co-Op manages and supports most aspects of a project or initiative under the direction of the Senior Manager or Project leaders. Responsibilities include project management, project development, problem solving, and process improvements. The role works with other J&J internal functional teams and external manufacturing partners to meet goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute projects or programs of low to medium complexity that affect patient safety, compliance, quality, service, growth, and value.
• Lead and support supply chain projects involving changes to existing products, manufacturing processes, and product transfers.
• Support creation of project business cases, assist with project tasks, mitigation plans, and project status monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as Research and Development, Regulatory, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Source.
• May assist with strategic projects, programs, and issue management activities.
• Use project management tools, solve problems, and suggest improvements.
• Understand business processes, governance, supporting systems, and the tools and templates used for project and portfolio management.
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Preferred

• Extracurricular experience and leadership in a student association or organization, and/or community service, is a plus.
