Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Operations Intern to support improvement projects across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Reliability, and other partners. The internship contributes to manufacturing performance, process improvement, equipment support, documentation, and site priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Process Mapping and Improvement: Help track process performance, identify issues, and coordinate follow-up actions. Collect, organize, analyze, and communicate operational data using Microsoft Excel and other available systems.
  • Technology Integration: Support the exploration and implementation of new tools that improve data collaboration and visualization within Operations. Assist with continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, equipment reliability, and productivity.
  • Document Best Practices: Create or update work instructions, standard work, reports, presentations, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Additional Projects: Take part in team meetings, project reviews, and shop-floor activities. Communicate status, risks, and results clearly, and keep regular contact with internal and cross-functional teammates.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Preferred fields of study include Engineering, Industrial and Systems, Operations, or Computer Engineering. Supply Chain or a closely related technical discipline may also be considered.
  • Availability for either May to August or June to September 2027.
  • Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited bachelor's or graduate program with a technical, operations, or manufacturing focus.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with data visualization or AI tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn about supply chain operations.

Candidate Eligibility

  • Authorized to work in the US without current or future sponsorship.
  • Remain actively enrolled in an academic program for the entire internship.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week during the internship.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.

Candidates on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT typically need future sponsorship for long-term employment and do not meet the requirements unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
