Summer Analyst, Corporate Banking

The CB Intern Analyst NE is an intermediate level position responsible for leading the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The main goal of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk.

Citi's Banking group is hiring Summer Analysts for the Corporate Banking team in North America. Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals who handle a wide range of complex financial issues for clients around the world. They lead the client dialogue on capital structure, liability management, liquidity and funding strategies, risk management, and investment solutions. Corporate Bankers also decide where the firm invests its capital and carry out those investments, working with groups such as Risk Management, Investment Banking, and the Capital Markets Organization.

We provide the knowledge and skills you need to succeed

The 10 week Summer Analyst Program starts in June with a one and a half week in-depth training program. After a placement process based on your interests and business needs, you will be matched with a Corporate Banking team for the length of the Program. Summer Analysts are eligible for Citi's mentorship program, which offers further training and guidance during and after the Program. Top performers often return to Citi after graduation as Full Time Analysts.

Your time here may include

• Conducting accounting and financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and capital markets analysis
• Completing fundamental risk and credit analysis
• Liaising with product partners
• Helping present and develop new ideas to clients
• Structuring deals and transactions
