Summer Technology Analyst Program

Citi Technology partners to keep Citi's platforms performing at a high level for clients worldwide. Its technologists, more than 30,000 globally, apply innovation and automation to deliver a strong client experience. The work centers on scalable, low-latency, high-performance enterprise systems that support Citi's strategic priorities.

Training and Support

The Summer Analyst Program starts in early June with in-depth training on the Analyst role and Citi's culture. The program also includes on-the-desk training, a speaker series, and networking opportunities. Many Summer Analysts return after graduation as Full-Time Analysts.

Your Work

You will work in an agile software development environment, building quality, scalable software with modern technologies. You will support testing cycles and post-production deployment, use tools to test and debug code, and take part in peer code reviews. New hires train together as a cohort on company tools, processes, and technical skills.

Technologies vary by team, but developers may gain exposure to the following areas:

• Back-End Development: Java, Python, Spring Framework
• Front-End Development: Web (React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5) and Mobile (Swift, Kotlin)
• Generative AI and AI Agents: GitHub Copilot, Citi Squad, Devin.AI, prompt engineering, workflow design, GenAI optimization, Stylus Workspaces
• Data Analytics: Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure business value.
