What You Will Do

Finance is a strategic business partner across the organization. Finance teams align with the businesses to give insight that supports better decisions, and they advise internal and external customers at every level.

Summer interns gain hands-on experience supporting a Strategic Business Unit or Functional Area within the Finance Organization. Interns may take on special assignments such as building financial models, improving processes, and preparing individual and group projects for Finance Leadership.

Interns learn how Raytheon's finances work, how the organization is structured, and how the company meets its customer commitments. They also join weekly development sessions to build technical and soft skills and grow their network. On-the-job training covers areas such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Program/Contract Business Management, and Pricing/Proposal Development.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Management, or a related field
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

Experience may be gained through on-the-job work, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience
• Cumulative 3.5 GPA desired
• Previous internship experience in a related field
• Experience leading a team project
• Extracurricular involvement in school or community
