Summer Technology Analyst Program

Citi's Summer Technology Analyst Program gives forward-thinking students a chance to innovate and make an impact at a global financial institution. Citi Technology supports the firm's platforms with a diverse, ethical workforce of more than 30,000 technologists who apply innovation and automation to deliver a strong client experience.

The Summer Analyst Program begins in early June with training on the fundamentals of the Analyst role and Citi's culture. The program also includes on-the-desk training, a speaker series and networking opportunities. Many Summer Analysts return after graduation as Full-Time Analysts.

Your Work

You will work in an agile software development environment, building scalable software with modern technologies. You will write code to quality standards, support testing cycles and post-production deployment, use tools to test and debug code, and take part in peer code reviews. New hires train together in a cohort to learn the company, its tools and processes, and the technical skills needed to succeed.

Technologies vary by team, but developers may work with:

• Back-End Development: Java, Python, Spring Framework
• Front-End Development: Web (React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5) and Mobile (Swift, Kotlin)
• Generative AI and AI Agents: GitHub Copilot, Citi Squad (automated code reviews), Devin.AI, prompt engineering, workflow design, GenAI optimization, Stylus Workspaces
• Data Analytics: Splunk, Tableau and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure business value
