About the Job

The Air Dominance and Strike Division develops next generation Collaborative Combat Aircraft (Fury), missiles such as RoadRunner and Barracuda, and the Mission Autonomy software that drives these products. The AD&S Operations team supports and accelerates these products by strengthening supply chain resilience, speeding production ramp, improving design and quality through test programs, and maximizing operational effectiveness in the field.

The team is a small group of business builder-operators who help the division scale quickly. This internship calls for an ambitious, strategic intern who wants to build and accelerate every step of the way, contributing to an end-to-end ecosystem of operational software that uses data and AI to build and run products at scale.

What You'll Do

• Embed with engineers to understand their workflows and find critical problems and bottlenecks.
• Identify, structure and use data systems to build tailored, data-driven solutions.
• Develop operational apps in a scrappy but effective way, working closely with users to iterate and support outcomes.
• Build systems and infrastructure that let applications mature, roll out and scale in the field.
• Work with Anduril's corporate Analytics team to expand ontologies and generalize data and workflow applications across the company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering fundamentals in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a similar background.
• Deep interest in analytics and the physical, hardware world, and motivation by Anduril's mission.
• Energy for business impact and self-starting drive: a fast, imperfect solution used by many people beats a perfect one that gathers dust.
• Proof of delivery: you owned a project end-to-end from ambiguity to a scalable outcome.
• Coding experience with Python, SQL, React, TypeScript or equivalent.
• Exposure to data systems such as dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, Databricks or Palantir Foundry.
