Responsibilities

Business Program Evaluation and Improvement

• Learn to run cost-benefit analyses that measure performance against value drivers such as profit and loss (P&L) and return on investment (ROI). Learn how monthly business reviews (MBR) work and help run them regularly to see what is working and what is not.
• Build the skills needed to help secure buy-in and adoption of new programs or changes across the organization.

Business Program Excellence and Execution

• Learn to promote programs to stakeholders, partners, and customers to earn their buy-in.
• Learn to adapt communication style and storytelling to fit the audience and business needs.

Business Program Management

• Learn about project portfolios, including project plans, RACI (responsible, accountable, consulted, informed) role documentation, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and program resource needs. Share program status with relevant stakeholders and hold them accountable to the schedule, risk mitigation plans, and processes, under close guidance from senior team members.

Business Program Planning and Design

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders (such as Engineering and Marketing) to design programs from initiation through delivery. Help produce collateral such as proposals, strategy decks, and internal and external pitch content that reflects stakeholder needs and business objectives.
• Learn to identify root causes, define program strategy, gather requirements, align stakeholders, plan resources, create project plans and targets, and align teams on the plan of record. Begin building expertise in improving existing programs by identifying industry methodologies and best practices, diagnosing issues, assessing scenarios, and choosing the best option.
