Anduril is a defense technology company working to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. Its family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center.
The Air Dominance and Strike Low Observable Team is advancing the next generation of LO technology to improve the survivability and effectiveness of unmanned air systems. The Low Observables engineering team designs, analyzes, tests, and sustains stealth features that reduce radar (RCS) and infrared (IR) signatures.
This is an intern role for engineers finishing a degree in aerospace, electrical, or mechanical engineering. Low Observables work combines the shape of the air vehicle, the electromagnetic behavior of its surfaces, and the materials and processes used to build it.
No prior stealth experience is needed, since most of it cannot be taught outside a cleared program. Anduril will teach the LO-specific methods. The team is looking for strong engineering fundamentals, comfort picking up unfamiliar analysis tools, and the judgment to tell a real result from a bad one.
Interns are paired with an LO engineer and start on a scoped piece of a live program, not a training exercise.
Anduril offers a comprehensive benefits package, available at little to no cost to full-time employees, to support health, recovery, and whatever comes next. More details are available on the Anduril careers site.
