About the Role

The Business Process Analyst (BPA) assesses, optimizes and streamlines business processes and systems within Micron's Sales Operations team. The role identifies inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas for improvement in existing processes. BPAs work with business and IT stakeholders to build solutions that meet business goals and process improvement metrics.

BPAs also produce deliverables across the Define, Develop, Deploy and Sustain methodology. Many of these time-intensive deliverables can now be automated into an AI-driven resource library, so teams can focus more on critical thinking, understanding pain points and cross-functional problem solving.

Internship Overview

As an intern on Micron's Business Process Excellence Team, you will help apply AI to analyze the existing Business Process Management (BPM) Playbook. You will help turn time-consuming deliverables into an "AI-powered Accelerator" that improves how teams plan, analyze, predict, model and manage business processes.

You will review BPM playbook resources and use AI models to generate baseline value stream process maps, current and future-state process flow diagrams, systems context diagrams, use cases, user stories, micro-learning training materials, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation and communications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze BPM methodology playbook work by phase.
• Take part in discussions on business process improvement requirements and problem solving.
• Use AI and analytics to:
  • Develop data-driven insights and key assets that help BPAs analyze issues and align stakeholders on process improvement objectives.
  • Create and use AI-powered resources, such as micro-learning training materials tailored to solution designs, and produce and update SOP documentation.
  • Help draft program and project communications.
  • Support Business Process Analysts on various projects.
