What You Will Do

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday co-op session running May/June through December, including the Fall semester. Students are expected to take a semester off from coursework to fully take part in this working mentorship.

As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op in the Displays, Controls, Computing & Networking department at Collins Aerospace, you will work with hardware and systems engineers to support new and existing products. Projects include cockpit displays and control panels, servos for control surface actuation, and other avionics equipment that enables aircraft connectivity.

• Investigate production issues, including developing and implementing solutions
• Support thermal and/or vibration testing to confirm product survivability or improvement
• Support in-service avionics hardware failure investigations
• Facilitate the build of prototype assemblies for testing

This is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
