What You Will Do

This full-time co-op runs Monday through Friday from June through December, including the fall semester. Students take a semester away from coursework to fully take part in this hands-on learning opportunity.

• Improve manufacturing processes to boost operator productivity.
• Design tooling that supports manufacturing processes.
• Support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, including 5S, waste reduction and flow improvements.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to find cost reduction opportunities.
• Plan and design layouts for manufacturing processes and equipment.

What You Will Learn

• Develop standard work procedures for production areas.
• Resolve production-related issues.
• Apply Six Sigma tools in a practical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

The salary range is a good faith estimate for all experience levels. Pay depends on factors such as the role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits and incentive compensation, subject to plan terms.
