Standard Job Description

This internship places you in a technical or engineering organization (such as Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short breaks from college while you remain enrolled in an accredited degree program. Students typically at the sophomore level are considered.

Pay Information

Lockheed Martin assigns each location a GeoZone to align pay with regional labor markets and cost of labor. Full-time salary ranges by GeoZone are: Zone 1 at $27.70 to $31.99 per hour (for example Sunnyvale CA, Palo Alto CA, New York City metro, Newark NJ); Zone 2 at $24.93 to $28.79 per hour (for example Denver CO, King of Prussia PA, Stratford CT, Moorestown NJ); Zone 3 at $22.16 to $25.59 per hour (for example Dallas-Fort Worth TX, Orlando FL, Grand Prairie TX, Marietta GA); Zone 4 at $20.15 to $23.26 per hour (for example Camden AR, Lexington KY, Lufkin TX).

The final salary depends on the requisition, scope of the role, experience, education, key skills and market considerations. Annual incentive programs may be offered and are not guaranteed.

Washington state applicants: non-represented full-time employees accrue at least 10 hours of PTO per month and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and at least 96 hours for holidays. These hours are prorated based on start date.
