About the job

As a Technology Strategy & Transformation Intern, you will work on real projects that shape how GRS builds its digital capabilities, understands its costs, and applies AI to daily work. You will collaborate with experienced professionals across technology, product, and strategy while gaining hands-on experience and exposure to senior leaders in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Your Focus Areas

  • Support current team priorities: Work with the Technology Strategy & Transformation (S&T) team and partners across GRS and Technology on efforts to improve visibility into costs and operations. You will help gather and organize data, document how key processes work today, and contribute analysis on where closer alignment could reduce duplication and create efficiencies.
  • Find and build improvements using AI: Learn how S&T works, including what it delivers, who it serves, and the outcomes it is accountable for. Then identify where deliverables or ways of working could improve, and use AI and other tools to build and test a practical solution. By the end of the internship, you will share what you built, what you learned, and what you would recommend next.

What You Bring

You are an undergraduate student working toward a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, with a strong academic record. A cumulative 3.0 GPA is preferred. You have 0-2 years of professional experience, and insurance experience is not required.

Experience or interest in research, data analysis, strategy, process improvement, technology, or AI is a plus. You are curious, eager to learn, and comfortable with new challenges. You show initiative, think creatively, and welcome new ideas. You communicate well in writing and verbally, work effectively with others, and stay organized and detail-oriented across multiple priorities. You are comfortable with technology, interested in applying AI and other emerging tools, and have working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

You must be authorized to work permanently in the United States.
