IBM's Power Systems sales enablement platform runs on a cloud-based backend used by the company's global sales force to market and sell Power Systems hardware, software, storage, and services. This team keeps product configuration, pricing, and manufacturing fulfillment running smoothly by maintaining and improving several mission-critical applications. We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to help build robust, scalable systems that directly support IBM's business.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize backend logic that drives marketing and product configuration rules across sales and manufacturing systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across multiple integrated applications and services.
• Analyze and process detailed product data sets to keep them aligned with IBM's engineering and marketing standards.
• Turn detailed infrastructure specification documents into clean, efficient code and data models for the sales and manufacturing configurator.
• Enhance and maintain DevOps automation tools written mainly in CML, Java/Python, and other modern technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python or Java, with a solid foundation in backend application development.
• Proven ability to handle complex, detail-oriented tasks with precision and accountability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
