Job Description

Parsons is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer intern to join the team. In this role, you will learn from experienced engineers and take part in every stage of the software engineering process.

Internships run for 3 or 6 months, with flexible start and end dates.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop, test, debug, and document software in a collaborative engineering environment.
• Write software in C/C++ and Python for applications that interact with hardware, sensors, communications systems, or other constrained environments.
• Work in a Linux development environment using Git and standard development tools.
• Troubleshoot issues across software, hardware, and system interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers from software, electrical, systems, and test disciplines.
• Take part in requirements analysis, design discussions, code reviews, integration, and system testing.

This position is part of the Federal Solutions team, which delivers resources to US government customers in defense, security, intelligence, infrastructure, and environmental areas.
