Role Overview

The VLSI Circuit Design, Physical Design and Integration Engineer is responsible for the physical and electrical design of high-frequency CMOS chips built on leading-edge technologies. You will use advanced design tools and flows to implement circuit schematics for microprocessors and ASICs and verify them against technology design rules.

You will deliver the physical and electrical design of specific processor and ASIC design elements. The work requires CMOS circuit and VLSI design skills along with timing, power, IR and EM analysis.

Experience with the Cadence tool suite (Genus, Innovus, Tempus, Voltus) is a significant advantage. A background in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.

Minimum Requirements

• Understanding of computer architectures, digital system design and VLSI systems
• VLSI or ASIC design exposure
• Python skills and inter-discipline design experience
• Hands-on experience with Git and Python
• Internships or work experience in high-frequency processor or ASIC physical design
• Exposure to industry microprocessor designs (x86, ARM or RISC-V)
