As a CVS Health Intern, you will take part in:

The Legal Internship is a 10.5-week full-time program that runs from May 24, 2027 to August 4, 2027. The role is hybrid, with 3 days (generally Tuesday through Thursday) in one of these offices: Parsippany, NJ; Chicago, IL; Hartford, CT; or Woonsocket, RI. The other 2 days each week can be worked remotely from home, the office, or another location of your choice. Required in-person onboarding will take place in the Hartford, CT office, and the Legal Internship program lead will coordinate travel for interns.

Housing and stipends are not provided, but interns can connect with one another before the program begins to coordinate housing if they wish. Pay is $27.50 per hour for 40 hours per week. The company holiday on July 4 is unpaid, and interns receive two days of paid leave.

Sponsorship

Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. This includes Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT) and F-1 visa programs.

About the Business Area

The CVS Health Legal Department is seeking a Summer 2026 rising 2L or 3L intern to support the department. This paid internship offers hands-on training in the real-world setting of an in-house legal department. Assignments vary and may include legal research, drafting memos, reviewing agreements and other legal documents, and preparing for and attending client meetings with in-house counsel.

The team works closely with business partners and outside resources where needed to reach appropriate resolutions of legal matters. Consistent with the Code of Conduct and legal and regulatory obligations, the team helps the company exercise sound judgment and meet its business goals in line with applicable law.

Examples of Past Projects

• Researching statutes, regulations and case law at federal, state and local levels
• Preparing memoranda and presentation materials on legal research outcomes and case summaries
• Benchmarking peers across industries for disclosure, corporate governance and other legal best practices
• Reviewing and proposing edits to company policies and procedures based on changes in law and benchmarking results
• Preparing training materials for colleagues
• Presenting legal findings to members of the legal team
