The actual hourly rate will depend on factors such as the scope, complexity and location of the role, the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials and experience, and other conditions of employment. Job Description

The Legal Summer Associate will provide legal research, prepare discovery, draft briefs and motions, and observe proceedings in various courts.

During the internship, the Legal Summer Associate will receive comprehensive mentoring, including opportunities to attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, court appearances, and trials or hearings. The associate will also collaborate with Travelers Staff Counsel attorneys, support staff and business partners, and receive substantive feedback on all assignments.

This is a temporary summer internship running for ten to twelve weeks, from June 2027 to August 2027. It offers hands-on exposure for a law school student seeking a professional and challenging experience. Interns are paid an hourly rate based on their year of school, with an intended 40-hour work week.
