What You Will Do

• Take part in a full-time co-op program running Monday through Friday from January to August, including the spring semester. Students take a semester off from coursework to fully engage in this hands-on learning.
• Improve manufacturing processes to enhance operator productivity.
• Design tooling that supports manufacturing processes.
• Contribute to Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, including 5S, waste reduction and flow improvements.
• Analyze manufacturing processes to find cost reduction opportunities.
• Plan and design layouts for manufacturing processes and equipment.

What You Will Learn

• Develop standard work procedures for production areas.
• Resolve production-related issues.
• Apply Six Sigma tools in a practical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
