As a Process Control Engineer Intern on the Technology Development team, you will help develop process and equipment control solutions. You will work with process engineering, IT, equipment automation, data engineering, and data science teams to build high quality control strategies and methods for predicting, identifying, and reducing variation.

As a PCE R2R Intern, you will learn to build models that detect process variation and improve control capabilities. The goal is greater efficiency, equipment and product safety, lower process variation, and higher yield. You will take part in data analysis, automation work, model building, and advanced strategy development.

Learning Opportunities May Include:

• Designing and implementing solutions that reduce process variation and automate or simplify process control tasks
• Defining process requirements to design and deliver decision logic
• Writing scripts to extract, shape, and filter data for predictive and control models
• Using AI agents and code assistants in project work and daily productivity
• Pulling data from multiple databases with SQL and other query languages, then applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques
