Intern Supply Management Analyst

Micron's Global Procurement team is looking for an Intern to join the Inbound Supply Management team. The team provides total cost control and supply chain resilience through forecasting, risk assessment, and a strong focus on sustainability and inclusion. As an Intern Supply Management Analyst, you will partner with Supply Managers to keep Micron's inventory supply steady. You will make sure supply stays available and continuous, build a detailed inventory management approach, work with suppliers and stakeholders to resolve shortages, and find root causes to prevent them from coming back.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor, and optimize inventory replenishment models and supply execution strategies to support manufacturing and reduce waste.
• Manage supplier commitments, track forecast accuracy, and coordinate with suppliers and business partners on demand volume and timing concerns.
• Oversee inventory scheduling and deliveries, modify supplier orders when needed, and escalate delivery issues to keep supply uninterrupted.
• Address inventory shortages and identify root causes for resolution.
• Work with direct and cross-functional teams to carry out global strategic direction in supply fulfillment and inventory management.
