About the job

Marsh is seeking talented individuals for the Marsh Early Career Program Summer Internship, part of the Risk business. The role is based in New York with an expected start in June 2027. It is a hybrid position that requires working in the office at least three days a week.

As a Summer Intern, you will work directly with senior advisors and brokers to help clients identify risks to their people, property, or financial and strategic goals. The 10-week program offers hands-on experience in risk management and insurance broking, along with a cohort community, a dedicated program team, a mentorship program, exposure to senior leaders, and networking opportunities. The internship ends with a summer capstone presentation to your team and senior leadership.

Within Marsh Risk, the Brokerage Practice helps clients manage and reduce risk in real-world scenarios such as medical pandemics, music festival liabilities, and financial scandals. Brokers collaborate with clients to assess risks, build relationships with insurers, and secure competitive insurance quotes. Exceptional interns may be offered a place in the full-time program after the internship.
