Role Overview

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2027 Summer Intern Software Engineer. You will develop, integrate, support and debug software, and troubleshoot and support CI/CD build pipelines. You will also support the virtual development labs and aircraft software processes.

Other responsibilities include designing, developing and using open-source, commercial and in-house software to support automation infrastructure. You will attend and take part in daily scrums, sprint reviews and technical demos.

The ideal candidate has experience and/or knowledge of C++ and Linux/Unix. US citizenship is required, and this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This role supports assignments in technical and engineering organizations (such as Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Pay and Benefits

The full-time salary range is $20.14 to $28.15 per hour. Pay depends on factors such as scope of the position, work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.
