Summer 2027 Software Engineer Intern

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is looking for a Summer 2027 Software Engineer Intern. You will take part in the System Software lifecycle, from supporting early system design concepts and software requirements through design, implementation, integration and testing. Duties include writing automated test scripts, tools, and software that runs on the F-35.

Experience with C++, object oriented design, and familiarity with Unix or Linux is expected. This role requires U.S. citizenship and a government security clearance, and the facility requires special access.

This position suits students who perform assignments in technical or engineering organizations (such as Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering) during breaks from an accredited degree program.
