The Role

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2027 Software Engineer Intern. You will develop software for a modernization effort on the F-16 Mission Computer, covering requirements analysis, design, coding, and testing.

The ideal candidate has experience or knowledge of object oriented design, C++ development, and the Linux operating system. U.S. citizenship is required, and this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

This role supports technical and engineering organizations (such as Electronics, Software, Facilities, and Manufacturing Engineering) during breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.
