Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2027 Systems Engineer Intern. In this role, you will elicit and document requirements, manage changes and compliance assessments of those requirements, support system architecture, and support preliminary and detailed designs. You will also verify and validate system requirements and manage risk. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of system design and engineering development, along with excellent written and oral communication skills.

You must be a US citizen, and this position will require a government security clearance. It is located at a facility that requires special access.

This role involves assignments in technical and engineering organizations (for example, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering) during vacations and short-term breaks from college while enrolled in an accredited degree program.

Desired Skills

• Understanding of aircraft design
• Experience with Microsoft Office and a programming language
