Data Science Internship

Position Summary

As a Data Science Intern, you will support the development and deployment of analytical models, contribute to data-driven solutions, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic retail environment.

What you'll do

You will apply data strategy principles, including understanding the business value of data, data management, and data governance. You will support analytical modeling by conducting exploratory data analysis, selecting appropriate modeling techniques, and developing custom analytical models. You will also assist in model deployment, code development, and testing, using languages such as SQL, Java, C, and Python.

You will help translate business problems into data-related solutions, identify suitable data sources, and support model assessment and validation. You will create data visualizations using tools like Python, R, Tableau, and PowerBI. You will also support business case development, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to continuous improvement.

You will model compliance with company policies and support Walmart's values of respect, integrity, and service to customers.
