Health Data Engineering Intern

Position Summary

The Innovation & Technology Data Engineering Internship is a 10.5-week full-time program running from May 24, 2027 to August 4, 2027.

This is a hybrid role based in Irving, TX, with three in-office days per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The other two days may be worked remotely from home or another location of your choice. CVS Health's hybrid model gives office-based colleagues flexibility based on the work they need to complete.

Relocation assistance is provided for candidates who need to move more than 50 miles.

The internship includes two days of paid leave and no work on the July 4 company holiday. Corporate interns also have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future role with CVS Health.

Your Role

As a Data Engineering intern, you will help build the data foundations that power analytics, machine learning and AI across the business. You will work alongside experienced data engineers, data scientists and business partners to develop data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources and help keep large-scale health care data reliable and ready for use.

You will have opportunities to:
