Summer Technology Analyst in Tampa

Citi's Summer Technology Analyst Program gives forward-thinking students the chance to innovate and make an impact at a major global financial institution. Citi Technology supports Citi's platforms for clients worldwide, with over 30,000 technologists working on scalable, low-latency, high-performance enterprise systems.

The Summer Analyst Program starts in early June with in-depth training on the fundamentals of the Analyst role and Citi's culture. The program also includes on-the-desk training, a speaker series, and networking opportunities. Summer Analysts often return after graduation as Full-Time Analysts.

What You Will Do

You will work in an agile software development environment to build quality, scalable software using modern technologies. You will write code that meets quality standards, support testing cycles and post-production deployments, test and debug code with the right tools, and take part in peer code reviews. You will also join a cohort of new hires for training on company tools, processes, and technical skills.

Technology focus areas vary by team, and developers may gain exposure to the following:

• Back-End Development: Java, Python, Spring Framework
• Front-End Development: Web (React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5) and Mobile (Swift, Kotlin)
• Generative AI and AI Agents: GitHub Copilot, automated code reviews, agentic code generation, prompt engineering, workflow design, and GenAI optimization
• Data Analytics: Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure the business value of delivered products
