Summer Analyst Technology Intern

Your Summer Program

The Summer Analyst Program starts in early June with in-depth training on the fundamentals of the Analyst role and Citi's culture. It also includes on-the-desk training, a speaker series and networking opportunities. Many Summer Analysts return after graduation as Full-Time Analysts.

You will work in an agile software development environment to build quality, scalable software using leading-edge technologies. You will write code to business requirements, support testing cycles and post-production deployment, use tools to test and debug code, and review peer code. New hires train as a cohort to learn Citi's tools, processes and technical skills.

Technologies vary by team, but developers may gain exposure to the following areas:

• Back-End Development: Java, Python, Spring Framework
• Front-End Development: Web (React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5) and Mobile (Swift, Kotlin)
• Generative AI and AI Agents: GitHub Copilot, Citi Squad (automated code reviews), Devin.AI, Prompt Engineering, Workflow Design, GenAI Optimization, Stylus Workspaces
• Data Analytics: Splunk, Tableau and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure the business value of delivered products.
