About the Program

Citi Technology supports Citi's platforms so they can "Be the Best" for clients worldwide. With over 30,000 technologists globally, the team uses a broad range of technologies to build scalable, low-latency, high-performance enterprise systems that support Citi's strategic priorities.

Training and Development

The Summer Analyst Program starts in early June with in-depth training on the fundamentals of the Analyst role and Citi's culture. The program also includes on-the-desk training, a speaker series, and networking opportunities. Many Summer Analysts return to Citi after graduation as Full-Time Analysts.

Your Work

You will work in an agile software development environment, building quality, scalable software with modern technologies. You will write code that meets quality standards, support testing cycles and post-production deployments, use appropriate tools to test and debug code, and take part in peer code reviews. New hires join a cohort and train together on company tools, processes, and the technical skills needed to succeed.

Technology Exposure

Technologies vary by team, but developers may gain exposure to the following areas:

• Back-End Development: Java, Python, Spring Framework
• Front-End Development: Web (React, TypeScript, Angular, HTML5) and Mobile (Swift, Kotlin)
• Generative AI and AI Agents: GitHub Copilot, Citi Squad (automated code reviews), Devin.AI, prompt engineering, workflow design, GenAI optimization, and Stylus Workspaces
• Data Analytics: Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure the business value of delivered products
