About this role

Carrier is looking for a motivated, results-oriented college student to join the team for the summer of 2027. The internship offers practical, challenging and meaningful on-the-job experience, with the chance to apply your knowledge and show your strengths in support of Carrier's business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Keep detailed records of testing, including measurements of test solutions, environmental conditions and equipment status.
• Organize test documents and prepare summarized reports for engineers or internal customers.
• Carry out sample preparation, metallography and microscopy of tested samples as needed.
• Coordinate documentation, return to customer and/or storage of tested samples.
• Help with continuous improvement efforts to increase test reliability and acceleration.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all procedures and PPE requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Able to communicate effectively at all levels and collaborate well with others on projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

This position may be eligible for short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements. It is not eligible for Carrier benefits.
