Summer Intern PhD Student, Drug Product Development Formulation

Drug Product Development works with colleagues across the full pharmaceutical development process, from discovery through commercial launch and beyond, to deliver oral small molecule drug products. The team looks for candidates who are proven team players, enjoy pursuing unique scientific discovery in an emerging field, and show strong operational, interpersonal, project management, and collaboration skills. The summer intern program is where this starts.

Summer interns will work with mentors for about 10 weeks on a guided research project. Projects relate to advanced formulation and process technologies, innovative drug delivery systems, and/or biopharmaceutical characterization for oral drug product development.

Program Highlights

• Exposure to senior management and business leaders
• Hands-on training and work in pharmaceutical manufacturing process areas and testing laboratories
• A formal presentation at the end of the internship

• Formal review and feedback sessions

Program Dates: Monday, June 7, 2027 to Friday, August 13, 2027. Applications are being accepted on a rolling basis, and selected candidates will be notified no later than February 2026.
