Winter 2027 Business Operations Engineer Co-op

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company working to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. Its family of systems runs on Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center.

About the Job

The Air Dominance and Strike Division is reshaping how future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing Collaborative Combat Aircraft (Fury), missiles such as RoadRunner and Barracuda, and the Mission Autonomy software behind them. The AD&S Operations team supports and accelerates these products, building and scaling the operational software that leverages data and AI to build and operate them rapidly.

The team is looking for an ambitious, strategic intern who wants to build and accelerate every step of the way.

What You'll Do

• Embed with engineers to understand their workflows and find critical problems and bottlenecks
• Identify, structure and leverage data systems to build tailored data-driven solutions
• Develop operational apps in a scrappy but effective way, working closely with users to iterate and support outcomes
• Build systems and infrastructure that let applications mature, roll out and scale in the field
• Work closely with Anduril's corporate Analytics team to expand ontologies and generalize data and workflow applications across the company

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering fundamentals in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a similar background
• Strong interest in analytics and the physical, hardware world, motivated by Anduril's mission
• Energized by business impact and self-starting, preferring a quick solution used by many people over a perfect one that collects dust
• Proof of delivery: owned a project end-to-end from ambiguity to a delivered, scalable outcome
• Coding experience with Python, SQL, React, TypeScript or equivalent
• Data system exposure: dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, Databricks, Palantir Foundry

Benefits

Anduril offers a comprehensive benefits package, available at little to no cost to employees, supporting health, recovery, and whatever comes next. Equity grants are included in most full-time offers.
