The Work

The Airframe Design Engineering organization is seeking a motivated Airframe Design Engineer summer intern to support metallic and composite structure design. You will help develop basic data, preliminary layouts, and detailed designs for new and revised parts, assemblies, and systems supporting helicopter fuselage primary and secondary structures.

U.S. citizenship is required as most programs and projects are ITAR restricted.

Basic Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient with Microsoft Business tools, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
• Basic knowledge with 3D computer aided design tools like SolidWorks, or equivalent

• Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills.
• Highly competitive and motivated to take ownership and meet objectives.
