Position Summary

The Walmart Last Mile Delivery Shopper Experience Internship is an 11-week paid program that gives students hands-on experience solving meaningful business problems at scale. Interns work on high-impact projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leaders, and network with industry experts. The program takes place at Walmart's Home Office in Northwest Arkansas.

As part of the Last Mile Delivery team, the intern will help shape how Walmart engages, recognizes, and rewards the independent drivers who deliver millions of orders to customers across the country.

About the Team

The Spark Shopper Experience Navigation team works on technology-enabled shopping across Walmart stores. Representing the voice of the shopper, the team works closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Data, and Operations to deliver seamless and efficient experiences. Team members show respect, integrity, and a commitment to continuous improvement, and they embrace innovation to meet customer needs.

What You'll Do

• Analyze shopper journeys and identify friction that affects item-find success or shopping speed.
• Use data, field observations, and shopper feedback to investigate problems and develop recommendations.
• Learn how app experiences depend on data sources, APIs, business rules, store systems, and other technology platforms.
• Support pilots and feature evaluations by defining success metrics, reviewing performance, and identifying risks or opportunities.
• Partner cross-functionally with Business, Product, UX, Engineering, Data, and Operations teams.
