What You Will Work On

As an Energy Business Insights Intern, you will support the Walmart Energy team with structured analysis, research, and project execution. You will help turn data and market information into clear insights that support decisions across a dynamic energy portfolio.

Example project areas may include:

• Analyzing operational, market, or customer data to identify trends and support business decisions.
• Researching energy markets, technologies, policy, or competitor activity to inform strategic opportunities.
• Supporting project plans, stakeholder materials, and performance reporting for cross-functional energy initiatives.
• Translating complex findings into concise presentations, dashboards, or written recommendations.

Preferred Areas of Study

• Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
