Northrop Grumman is seeking Structural / Electromechanical Engineers for an internship at its Space sector in Redondo Beach, CA. The intern will join the Western Region Vehicle and Mechanical Engineering discipline and work across mechanical, electronic and electrotechnical areas.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out preliminary requirements definition, conceptual and layout designs, detailed design, analysis, drawing release and design review presentations, and support fabrication, integration and testing of mechanisms, deployable systems and opto-mechanical systems for space applications.
• Apply research to the planning, design, development and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls and machines.
