Team Overview

The Experience Team (EX) is made up of Product UX Designers, UX Researchers, Technical Writers, Design Operations, Design Technologists and Visual Designers. The team builds innovative software that makes workflows smarter, and draws its strength from diverse people with many professional and personal backgrounds.

ServiceNow is looking for students who want to learn, grow, and start their careers early while making a real impact. The program offers a 12-week summer internship across various business functions.

Hiring takes place in multiple locations, including Santa Clara, CA, San Diego, CA, West Palm Beach, FL and other areas. The work location will be set based on team growth strategies.

Technical Writing Intern Responsibilities

• Create product documentation for end users and system administrators
• Learn to author in a range of environments, mainly DITA/XML
• Research, write, and verify content covering current and future product releases
• Work closely with multiple development teams in an Agile environment
• Conduct peer reviews of documentation
• Collaborate with other information developers to produce and share content across deliverables such as blogs, product documentation, knowledge base articles and video

Compensation

The base pay for this location is $27.45 - $35.19 per hour, plus benefits. Individual pay depends on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
