Schonfeld Hiring 2027 Quantitative Developer Intern

The Role

Schonfeld is looking for exceptional interns to join the Quantitative Research team in the Austin metro area. Interns will work alongside researchers and developers on projects such as designing new predictive signals and improving algorithms for prediction, trade execution, portfolio construction and risk management. There is room to make meaningful contributions across several areas of the quantitative trading business.

What You'll Do

As a Quantitative Developer Intern, you will help develop and improve the software used in quantitative research. You will learn how to build scalable software and use parallel computing to train machine learning models and process large datasets. You may also use AI tools to improve your coding and analysis productivity. Over the 10-week internship, you will work with senior team members to learn what it takes to succeed as a Quantitative Developer and will get to know colleagues throughout the program.

The annual base pay for this role is expected to be between $175,000 and $220,000. Internship pay will be prorated based on the internship start and end dates. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience and level of education.
