We are looking for a motivated Summer Intern to join the EGDS (Evidence Generation and Decision Science) Group. The internship runs 8 to 12 weeks.

The EGDS group sits within the Translational Medicine Unit. It applies rigorous statistical methods to support evidence generation and data-driven decisions across the drug development lifecycle, from first-in-human studies to pivotal registration trials. The group explores approaches such as causal inference, Bayesian methods, real-world data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to improve trial design, operational efficiency, and insights from complex clinical datasets.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design, conduct, and analysis of early- and late-phase clinical trials while doing methodological research under experienced biostatisticians.
• Carry out literature reviews, develop computational tools, and implement AI/ML modeling and simulation approaches in clinical trials.

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong academic background in statistics, biostatistics, or data sciences.
• Experience in data analysis, data visualization, machine learning, and modern AI tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
