This position will be staffed in Salt Lake City, UT.

What You Will Do

The team needs a Software Engineer who is driven to take initiative, make decisions and generate ideas that push product development forward. Responsibilities cover the full product lifecycle, from architecture and design through integration, test and field support. You will help build, test and deliver software applications for advanced systems that process modern communications for the U.S. Government. A strong grasp of standard programming practices, software architecture and networking is important.

• Work on complex technical problems as part of collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams.
• Work under the guidance of a product lead and team members who help set the approach, perform code reviews and support testing.

What You Will Learn

• How to collaborate effectively in a team-based development environment using disciplined engineering processes.
• How to write code with the larger end product and customers in mind.
• Hands-on exposure to large code bases and toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, Git and Docker.
