What You Will Do

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Center in Tucson, AZ is a multi-discipline organization that designs, builds and integrates advanced missile and defense technology.

You will work with reliability engineers to make sure systems and products perform consistently and meet their expected lifetime requirements. You will analyze failure data, assess risks, and find ways to improve performance. You will also work with design, manufacturing, and test teams to build reliability into every stage of development.

You may support activities such as:

• Working on a reliability team to support systems design, integration, and/or test.
• Implementing strategies to improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of systems or equipment.
• Using failure data, test results, and field reports to find patterns and root causes of reliability issues.
• Performing reliability modeling and predictions using methods such as Weibull analysis, FMEA, FMECA, and fault tree analysis.
• Working closely with systems, design, manufacturing, and test engineers to drive reliability into the product.
