What You Will Do

You will join the Software Engineering department in Fort Wayne, Indiana, working on the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) International programs. Your work will help extend the reach of the AFATDS International family of products worldwide. You will work in a team under a team leader to implement software requirements for Fire Support Command and Control (C2) products, including the transition of the AFATDS legacy code base to a modern software architecture. This is an onsite position.

• Implement AFATDS software capabilities for new and/or updated requirements
• Identify, analyze, and remedy bugs in the existing AFATDS software
• Lead the transformation of the AFATDS codebase to a modern software architecture
• Work with a technical mentor using a defined project plan and milestones

Qualifications You Must Have

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM major, and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• AI/ML, Data Science and/or software development experience

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
