Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems in Littleton, CO is hiring a Software Engineer Intern. You will join a dynamic, diverse team on a recurring multi-year, critical program within EMC2. You will work on the leading edge, solving problems, developing key design features, and contributing to mission critical software within a multi-discipline team and an Agile environment.

Applicants must be US Citizens, and this position requires a government security clearance. The position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or Science from an accredited college
• Experience developing object-oriented software using C++, C#, Java, or Python
• Must be a US Citizen; this position requires a government security clearance and is located at a facility that requires special access

Desired Skills

• Experience with Windows or Linux based systems
• Familiarity with Agile development tools and methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic who can work both independently and as part of a team
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong interpersonal skills

Pay Information

The full-time salary range is $22.66 to $31.67 per hour. Lockheed Martin's Total Rewards program supports your well-being and helps you grow professionally and personally.

The salary listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year based on performance metrics.

Washington state applicants (non-represented full-time employees) accrue at least 10 hours per month of PTO and receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of vacation per month, up to 52 hours of sick leave annually, and receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
