Pratt & Whitney designs, manufactures and services aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems. The company has been advancing modern flight for over 100 years.

The Commercial Engines Programs Internship is for college students in business-related fields. Interns gain hands-on experience supporting the commercial, financial and customer-focused functions of Commercial Engines. You will work on real business projects, help develop insights that guide strategic decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The program builds analytical, organizational and professional skills and offers exposure to the commercial aviation industry.

Interns in this program will be evaluated for full-time offers into the Commercial Engines Leadership Development Program after graduation, or for additional internship opportunities the following summer.

What You Will Do

• Support business teams across Commercial Engines with data collection, analysis and preparing insights for business and operational decisions.
• Help coordinate activities on ongoing projects, track progress and document key updates or outcomes.
• Develop and maintain reports, summaries or presentations for internal stakeholders in business and customer-focused groups.
• Assist in reviewing current business processes, identifying improvement and automation opportunities (especially digital solutions), and recommending practical, data-supported solutions.
• Take part in cross-functional meetings to see how commercial, technical and customer perspectives come together.
• Help prepare materials for leadership reviews, team briefings or customer-related analyses.
• Support ad hoc tasks and special projects tied to commercial strategy, operational performance or business transformation.
• Join intern program activities, networking sessions and learning opportunities to build knowledge of the Commercial Engines business.
