Overview

Regional Operations Co-Op

This position develops leaders within the Customer Support Services organization of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. Co-Ops gain working knowledge of Johnson & Johnson's MedTech customers, sales practices, supply chain logistics, distribution and transportation networks, revenue practices, and team dynamics.

Co-Ops own a set of reports they are required to distribute. They build relationships with internal partners to decrease costs and streamline processes, and they collaborate with cross-functional and matrix team business partners as well as trade customers on initiatives. Innovation, process improvement, and teamwork are essential to the role.

Once Co-Ops master day-to-day business activities and consistently achieve key organizational metrics, they can apply Process Excellence (Six Sigma) methodology to lead projects from root cause analysis through solution implementation.

Day-to-Day Activities

This role interacts daily with the internal Regional Operations Team. All customer interactions must be handled professionally, helpfully, and promptly to ensure high customer satisfaction and attention to compliance requirements. Daily activities include:

  • Supporting Regional Operations in identifying process improvement opportunities and creating strategies that maintain consistency, simplicity, and accountability.
  • Building a working knowledge of systems used by Customer Support Services, such as SAP, Genesys Cloud, Salesforce, and Microsoft applications.
  • Facilitating monthly Regional Operations Metrics and Action Planning (MAP) meetings, including creating the agenda, documenting action items in meeting minutes, and maintaining the action item tracker.
  • Updating and maintaining the Regional Operations KPI Dashboard.
  • Reformatting and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for processes managed in the truVault Document Management System.
  • Reviewing all SOPs and WIs used in daily Co-Op activities and creating new SOPs or WIs as required.
  • Ensuring a smooth transition and full training for the Co-Op replacement, including access to vital systems and updated Business Contact Lists.
  • Keeping resume entries current with professional achievements and completed tasks.
  • Participating in as many Co-Op activities as possible at both leadership and participant levels, including community service and credo activities.
  • Completing required compliance and assigned training by the due date.
